Located inside both of the pantries is Jessica’s Corner. Jessica’s Corner helps local families by providing essential items for babies- items like diapers, baby wash, shampoo, onesies, bibs, and more. There’s also emergency clothing available when families need it most. Week after week, these items go out to families in our community offering real help in difficult moments.
Jessica’s Story:
Jessica Williams had a special place in her heart for children. When she passed away in January 2010, just a little over 34 years old, it was a devastating loss to everyone who loved her. She had overcome a lot in her life and was just beginning to see some of her biggest dreams start to come true. Her family knew they didn’t want her story to end there.
Just a few weeks later, in February 2010, Jessica’s mother and stepfather reached out to Catholic Charities to create something lasting in her memory. That’s how Jessica’s Corner came to be. A small but meaningful way to carry on her love for children.
Hundreds of children have already been touched by this effort, and in every one of them, Jessica’s love lives on.
Jessica’s Corner is available at either of our food pantries during regular business hours. Pantry visitors will be offered support based on need, or anyone can stop in and ask for help when they need it.
Jessica may be gone, but her kindness, heart, and her deep love for children continue to make a difference.

Our Food Pantries help individuals and families meet their basic needs with dignity and care. We provide nutritious food and necessities to those experiencing hardship. In addition to our regular pantry services, we offer a Summer Lunch Program to ensure children have access to healthy meals while school is out, a backpack drive, and we coordinate Thanksgiving baskets so families can share a holiday meal together. Through these programs, we’re committed to helping our neighbors find nourishment, stability, and hope.
