GRADE 12        FLSA Exempt

I.         QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Experience

1.               Masters in Human Services preferred

                                       OR

2.         Bachelors in Human Services required     

3.         Five years’ supervisory experience

Skills

1.         Effective oral/written communication skills

2.               Good interpersonal skills

3.               Effective team-building/supervisory skills

4.               Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary setting

5.               Good organizational and problem solving skills

6.               Good computer skills

7.               The ability to climb stairs, bend, stoop, sit, stand, reach and lift items weighing 40 lbs.

8.               Ability to legally operate a vehicle in NY State

II.        RESPONSIBLE TO:      Program or Division Director

III.      MAJOR FUNCTIONS:

1.               Implement agency  program policies and procedures, maintaining compliance with all applicable regulations

2.               Assure Policy/Procedure Manuals current and in compliance with applicable regulations

3.               Insure incidents are properly reported, investigated and reviewed in a timely manner

4.               Oversee and/or conduct internal audit of records and billing documents to assure that Medicaid and QA requirements are                      met

5.               Oversee and/or audit financial accounts and ledgers

6.               Assure the emergency safety plans and evacuation drills are conducted as per regulation where applicable

7.               Complete required reports in a thorough and timely manner

8.               Submit accurate program statistics

9.               Assist in the review of incidents to assure they are properly reported, investigated and reviewed in a timely manner

10.            Assist with monitoring of expenses and receipts within budget guidelines

11.            Code and sign off on invoices

12.            Assure that Medicaid requirements are met and that internal audits are conducted according to procedure

13.            Monitor, evaluate and provide direction to supervisors and program staff

14.            Provide guidance to supervisory staff on all employee disciplinary issues, meet with employee when serious issues are                         present and oversee and/or develop written PAPs

15.            Keep Program Managers informed of all pertinent program information

16.            Provide and/or schedule staff training

17.            Attend meetings, participating on committees as directed by Division Director

18.            Represent the agency and program in the community and with other service providers as requested

19.            Assist Program Managers with intakes, assessments and documentation for new referrals

20.            Perform other job related activities as directed by Division Director
