Per Diem Maintenance/Pantry Worker - Level 1

GRADE 5          FLSA (Non-Exempt)



1.               High school diploma or GED

2.               Some participation or training in the area


1.               Ability to manage time and complete assigned tasks as scheduled

2.               Ability to work compatibly with others

3.               Ability to work independently

4.               The ability to climb stairs, bend, stoop, sit, stand, reach and lift items weighing 40 lbs.

II.        RESPONSIBLE TO: Supervisor


1.               For Pantry Worker: 

                  (a) Interview and provide needed support to individuals requesting food and provide referrals as appropriate                     (b) Assist with unloading delivery’s and restocking shelves

2.               For Maintenance Worker:      

                  (a) Thoroughly clean assigned areas including sweeping, dusting, vacuuming, and window washing                                                        (b) Empty office waste baskets and remove to dumpster 

                  (c) Clean and sanitize bathrooms

3.               Both:

                 (a)   Participate in all required training

                 (b)  Report any unusual/unforeseen circumstances to supervisor

                 (c)   Perform other related tasks as directed by supervisor
