 Warehouse Maintenance Worker Level 2

 GRADE 6       $15.45-$17.39 per hour                                             (Non-exempt)  FLSA

I.          QUALIFICATIONS

A.              Education/Experience

1.               High school diploma or equivalency

2.               Experience with maintenance/janitorial duties preferred

B.              Skills

1.               Good interpersonal skills

2.               Ability to work with team approach

3.               Ability to accommodate flexible work schedule

4.               Ability to manage time

5.               Must be able to lift and move furniture and be physically able to perform job duties.

6.               Basic household maintenance skills

7.               If required, amenable to training on computer skill development

8.               The ability to climb stairs, bend, stoop, sit, stand, reach and lift items weighing 40 lbs.

9.               Ability to legally operate a vehicle in NY State

II.         RESPONSIBLE TO:  Supervisor

III.       MAJOR FUNCTIONS

A.              Primary Duties

1.               Assist in maintaining/organizing the warehouse

2.               Prepare orders for delivery

3.               Assemble household items as needed

4.               Assist with doing physical inventory

5.               Tag and organize new shipments that arrive

6.               Track properly signed documentation and approval prior to delivery

7.               Deliver light items to area locations

8.               Perform minor repairs and maintenance in residential sites

9.               Paint interior walls of residential sites and offices

10.            Understand and follow all program policies and procedures

11.            Report all program or resident sensitive situations to supervisor

12.            Participate in and successfully complete all required staff training and development activities

13.            Perform other related tasks as directed by supervisor
