All-Star Golf Tournamant to Benefit Catholic Charities Youth and Families

Since its inception 13 years ago, The Jim "Mudcat" Grant Tournament has expanded to benefit Catholic Charities, as well as 3 other worthy organizations: CHOW, Boys and Girls Club of Binghamton and the Broome County Urban League. From food and meals to education and social services, the proceeds from the tournament are instrumental in contributing to the well-being of children and families in our community. New to the tournament this year, proceeds will also go towards efforts to assist veterans in our area.

Funds raised from the tournament are used to support Catholic Charities programs, such as our Family Counseling Services. This program provides counseling to individuals, couples and families dealing with a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, divorce and death. Thanks to the commitment of Security Mutual, Mudcat Grant, the sponsors, celebrities and volunteers, Catholic Charities can continue to provide valuable services to the people of need in our community.

The Tournament takes place on August 28, 2014 at the Links at Hiawatha Landing. Many of the returning celebrity players will be visiting our local area hospitals, and participating in youth programs thorough the Boys and Girls Club.
