 Salary range: $19.95-$22.45/hr.                         FLSA (Non-Exempt)

I.                QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Experience

 1.  Associates Degree preferred

 2. Two years office-related experience required

Skills

  1. Excellent computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access
  2. General knowledge of accounting functions
  3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  4. Ability to operate multi-line telephone system and general office equipment
  5. Good organizational skills
  6. Detail oriented
  7. The ability to climb stairs, bend, stoop, sit, stand, reach and lift items weighing 40 lbs.
  8. Ability to legally operate a vehicle in NY State

II.        RESPONSIBLE TO:   Division Director

III.      MAJOR FUNCTIONS:

1.      Complete correspondence, reports, forms, and other division related documents

2.      Maintain client case file system

3.      Maintain accurate statistical records, files, directories etc.

4.      Monitor routine maintenance of office machines and supplies needed

5.      Understand and implement benefit/entitlement process for division clients

6.      Collect and monitor expenditure receipts from division programs

7.      Maintain contact with other community supports and service providers

8.      Act as liaison between division and accounting department

9.      Act as liaison between division and HR department

10.   Inform Division Director of program operating concerns

11.   Complete surveys for division programs at scheduled intervals

12.   Complete required record audits

13.   May have regular and substantial contact with those individuals receiving services

14.   Maintain program and client confidentiality

15.   Participate in staff meetings and training activities

16.   Provide back up for other support staff as needed

17.   Perform other job related tasks requested by supervisor
