Salary $23.10-$26.10/hr. FLSA Non-Exempt
I. QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Experience
1. Bachelor’s degree in Human Services field
2. Two years’ experience working with children in human service field
3. Supervisory experience required
Skills
1. Good problem-solving skills
2. Ability to communicate effectively
3. Good leadership and team-building skills
4. Ability to assign and delegate tasks
4. Familiar with computer programs (e.g. Word, Excel)
5. The ability to climb stairs, bend, stoop, sit, stand, reach and lift items weighing 40 lbs.
6. Ability to legally operate a vehicle in NY State
II. RESPONSIBLE TO: Manager
III. MAJOR FUNCTIONS:
1. Understand and implement all agency and program policies and
procedures
2. Maintain compliance with program quality improvement plan
3. Submit required reports and statistical information in a thorough and timely manner
4. Monitor, evaluate and provide direction to staff
5. Ensure that all staff training requirements are met
6. Assign staff and maintain adequate staff coverage to meet client/program needs
7. Conduct weekly staff meetings and submit minutes to Manager
8. Keep Manager informed of all pertinent program information
9. Monitor that incidents are reported and documented per regulation
10. Ensure referrals are processed in a timely manner and admissions and discharges to program occur in a timely manner and are documented per policy & procedure
11. Understand and monitor client eligibility for benefits and entitlements
12. Ensure that monthly client billing contacts are completed and documented according to program policy & procedure
13. Ensure all client documentation is written and implemented according to program policies & procedures and incorporates person centered elements
14. Monitor expenditures, code receipts and ensure they are turned in according to policy & procedure
15. Establish and maintain relationships with individuals receiving services
16. Monitor and advocate for individual rights as needed
17. Represent agency and program in the community and with other
service providers
18. Participate in and successfully complete all required staff training and development activities
19. Perform other job-related activities as directed by Manager
